Learn to sail on Loch Linnhe

The Club has been a recognised RYA teaching establishment, helping people to learn to sail for over twenty years.   We have a senior instructor ( a RYA Class Racing Coach ) as training principal, several dinghy instructors, powerboat instructors and a coach assessor – all volunteers.  The club has, as required by the RYA, a Health and Safety Policy and a Child Protection Policy.

RYA level 1 and 2 Dinghy Courses

We run at least one course every season for members, where you will work through the RYA level 1/2 Dinghy syllabus.  If you would like to see what sailing is about before taking the plunge, this SailABoat website is very helpful and informative. If you fancy having a go after watching, book onto one of our courses below, or contact our Senior Instructor on training@lochaber-yacht-club.co.uk if you have further questions about the courses.
